Now: Large Shark Tooth
				Then: Megalodon
	During the Miocene period Bakersfield, California was a large ocean bay.  The "king" of the bay was a gigantic shark known as Megalodon.  This monster of the deep was approximately 50 feet long with a mouth full of 6 inch long teeth like the one pictured above.  His favorite food was sea lions and whales.
